Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance (PFSA) is a statewide child abuse prevention organization. PSFA provides information on topics of interest to parents, and a variety of publications and resources. Family Support Programs offered through PSFA provide parents and caregivers with the tools to help them overcome challenges to become the most effective parent they can be. PFSA offers training, technical assistance and educational materials, as well as parent education publications and curricula, to a network of local prevention and family support programs.

Capital Area Head Start is widely known in Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry Counties for providing comprehensive child development services to over 900 children ages birth to five. Serving primarily low-income families, we have over 20 community-based centers in urban, rural and suburban areas. All children receive educational, medical, dental and nutritional services to prepare them for public school and the world at large.
